01. Processes
A list of processes / procedures related to sales.
- Order: a form (bird species, wood, dedication, contact) β confirmation of the date (3β4 weeks).
- Personalisation: a burnt-in dedication on the underside; optionally a different recording.
- Packaging and delivery: the nightjar + the button + 2 cells (taken out, separately in a package according to the Li-ion transport rules) + a charger + a printed User Guide.
- Handover: a short video with a demonstration of the battery replacement; safety warnings (the cell type, external charging).
- Complaints: 24 months on the wood and the electronics; cells are consumables.
- v7: packaging without separate Li-ion cells and a charger (it charges in the body); the transport rules for a Li-ion battery inside the product still apply.
